My research interests are the following:

• Smart materials for advanced applications: detergency, pharmacy, energy
• Physical chemistry characterization of soft matter.
• Experimental Flow dynamics of complex fluids and solids.
• Polymer-surfactant interactions.
• Cellulose dissolution and structural characterization.
• Research and innovation in the agro-alimentary field.
• Lyotropic phase behaviour of amphiphiles.

Along with my research career, I performed several light, neutron, and X-ray small-angle experiments, and several of my proposals were accepted in large-scale facilities: Paul Scherrer Institut (Switzerland), Institut Laue-Langevin (France), NIST Center for Neutron Research (USA) and LNLS Laboratório Nacional de Luz Síncrotron (Brazil).
