Jairo Alfonso Mendoza Roldan

He received his degree in Veterinary Medicine from the University of La Salle, Bogotá, Colombia (2013), his Master of Science (MSc) in Experimental Epidemiology applied to zoonoses from the University of São Paulo, Brazil (2015) and his PhD PhD in Experimental Epidemiology applied to zoonoses at the same university (2019). He has a PhD in Animal Health and Zoonosis (2023) from the University of Bari. He is currently a resident of the European Veterinary Parasitology College (EVPC) and assistant professor at the University of Bari “Aldo Moro ”, teaching Parasitic Diseases of Animals at the Department of Veterinary Medicine. He is the author and co-author of 70 articles published in international journals with a high impact factor. He is associate editor of Parasites and Vectors (BMC; IF) for the Tick and Tick Borne diseases section.
