Research

Main research fields: The research activity is focused on the  Medical and Veterinary Parasitology and Mycology, in particular on Strongyloides stercoralis in dogs, infectious diseases transmitted by vector-borne pathogens of zoonotic concern, and Feline Leishmaniasis.

Author and Coauthor of n. 67  peer-reviewed scientific articles in international journals, n. 115 contributions at international and national conferences and speaker at n. 20 national and international congresses. Author of n. 3 chapters of national and international books.

 Research Project: Principal investigator of the project "Feline Leishmaniasis in Europe". Member of 8 national projects funded by Italian institution and 3 by External Independent Company.
