Research

The research is focused on viral and bacterial agents of domestic pets and livestock animals with or without zoonotic relevance.  Chiefly the studies are directed toward ruminants virus (pestivirus, herpesvirus, coronavirus, papilloma-virus) and viruses cats and of dogs (paramyxovirus, parvovirus, retroviruses, calicivirus).

A particular area of interest is  the study of the epidemiology of lyssavirus in bats.
