Born in Bari in 1959. Graduated in Veterinary Medicine at the University of Bari with top grades.
Current academic position:
- Associate Professor, SSD VET/05 (Infectious Diseases of Animals) at the Department of Veterinary Medicine.
Professional qualifications:
- Doctorate fellowship in “Infectious pathologies of small ruminants” (25/09/96).
- National scientific approval to functions of full professor in the competition sector 07/H3 (Infectious and Parasitic Diseases of Animals).
Academic assignments:
- Member of the Teacher Board of the Post-graduate School of Infectious Diseases of Animals. (from 2002).
- Member of the examination committee for subjects related to the disciplinary group VET/05.
Teaching activities:
- Infectious diseases of swine at the Specialization School in "Infectious Diseases, Prophylaxis, and Veterinary Police."
- Epidemiology, within the course "Foodborne Zoonoses and Epidemiology" of the Master's Degree in Hygiene and Safety of Animal-Origin Foods LM86 (since 2015).
- Internship activities in Infectious Diseases for the Master's Degree in Veterinary Medicine LM42, fourth year (since 2019).
- Co-instructor for the course "Biosecurity and Health Management of Farms, Kennels, Catteries, and Shelters" in the Bachelor's Degree in Animal Sciences L 38 (Academic Years 2022-2023); Third year.
