The Semester Course of Medical-Surgical Internship is a course provided by the study plan of the CdLM in Medicine and Surgery, it consists of three parts as follows:
- Internship in a Clinical Department (10 CFU)
- Internship in a Surgical Department (10 CFU)
- Training at a general practitioner (6 CFU)
Clinical and Surgical Internship
The part of Clinical and Surgical Internship is carried out at one of the U.O. of the Policlinico of Bari, the responsible of the management of this activity is Prof.ssa Angela Pezzolla (IV floor Asclepios).
It is necessary to do the internship activities in two departments, one Medical and one Surgical.
How to request the assignment of Internship Tutors:
Through the special Platform you can express Four Preferences, two in the surgical-assistance field and two in the medical field, you can consult the areas in the following file:
You can express your preference in the following periods:
- Summer Session (June/July): it is possible to apply From 10 January to 20 January
- Autumn session (September/October/December): it is possible to apply From 1 April to 10 April
- Extraordinary Session (February/March): it is possible to apply From 31 October to 9 November
Assignments will be made according to the order of preference expressed by each student, taking into account any special need by the student and it will be made known on the Site of the Degree Course.
It should be reminded to the students that a proof of attendance (Frequenze) and of evaluation (Valutazione) of the internship is necessary. You need to use the following modules, one module for each tutor.
The frequencies on the ESSE3 platform will be automatically assigned according to the list of students who require the assignment of the tutor, but the verbalization of the exam will take place after verification of the module for the detection of frequencies.
For students of previous orders to NODbis it is possible to carry out the practical evaluation internship by filling in the online platform that is at the bottom, with the same methods as above.
