John Clancy has over 25 years of experience in marketing and communications and has a proven record of developing and implementing successful marketing and communications strategies within both B2B and B2C environments.
John has spent the last seven years as a Digital Marketing Consultant working with both start-up and established companies. His clients are based in Europe, the Middle East and North and South America. He is also a marketing and business development lecturer at Inholland University in the Netherlands, visiting professor at the University of Bari Aldo Moro, serial entrepreneur, app developer and author of two books (App Marketing Pro, A Definitive Guide to Marketing Your
App and In Pursuit of Passion: The Guide to Creating an Income from Your Life’s Purpose).
Prior to that he was Head of Online Marketing for United Business Media (UBM), Marketing & Communications Director for BMC Software and the founder and Managing Director of Urban Learning BV, an innovative training and education company.
Before creating Urban Learning, he moved to the Netherlands to help launch Expatica Communications (www.expatica.com), taking the company from start up to the leading brand in its category within three years. Prior to that he lived in New York City where he was Marketing Director at The Institute for International Research, Inc. (www.iirusa.com), the world’s largest international conference company.
