DIAGNOSTIC LABORATORY

These service provides diagnoses related to the following activities: autopsy; cytological; histopathology of biopsies and organ pieces; immunohistochemical investigations.

The Section is equipped with a histopathology laboratory, a laboratory of histochemical stainings, an immunohistochemistry laboratory, an autopsy room. Cyto-histological and autopsy samples are received from Monday to Friday, from 9 to 14.00 accompanied by a written request of the examination to be carried out duly completed by a veterinary surgeon.
