| La RVF è una malattia emergente trasmessa da vettori appartenenti ai generi Aedes e Culex. Nel continente africano è endemica ed è responsabile di decessi tra gli umani e gli animali. A causa dei cambiamenti climatici e delle importazioni di bestiame da queste aree, l’Italia può rappresentare una nuova nicchia per le zanzare Aedes e Culex favorendo lo sviluppo di RVF in aree non endemiche. |

RVF is an emerging disease transmitted by vectors belonging to the Aedes and Culex genres. In Africa is responsible for deaths among humans and animals. Owing to the climate changes and the imports of animals from these endemic areas, Italy may represent a new niche for Aedes and Culex mosquitoes supporting the development of RVF in non-endemic areas. |
