Lo scopo del presente studio è stato quello di valutare l'effetto dello stress termico sull'attività riproduttiva delle bovine da latte e gli effetti della somministrazione di un'associazione di vitamine (Vitamine A, E e D) sulle concentrazione delle Heat shock protein (HSP) e di Reactive oxygen species (ROS), nel periodo autunnale, successivo ad un'estate particolarmente calda. Concentrazioni più alte di HSP e di ROS sono state rilevate in tutte le vacche, mostrando ripercussioni dello stress da calore anche in tale stagione.

The aim of this study was to evaluate the effect of heat stress on  reproductive activity of dairy cows and the effects of the administration of a combination of vitamins (Vitamins A, E and D) on the concentration of Heat Shock Protein (HSP) and Reactive oxygen species (ROS), in the autumn period, which has followed a particularly hot summer. High concentrations of HSP were detected in all cows as a consequence of the hot summer, showing the repercussions of heat stress in the autumn period.
