Il progetto COMEU4PAR, finanziato dall'Unione Europea, mira a promuovere attività didattiche e di ricerca sui temi della cittadinanza europea e dei diritti ad essa connessi.
L’obiettivo del modulo è quello di diffondere la conoscenza, favorire il dibattito e sostenere la ricerca sui temi dell’Unione Europea sì da combattere la disinformazione e incentivare la partecipazione democratica dei cittadini nella definizione dell'agenda politica sovranazionale.
Il progetto europeo, di durata triennale, si caratterizza per la spiccata impronta transeuropea coinvolgendo non solo docenti dell'Università di Bari, dell'Università di Salerno e dell'Università di Perugia, ma anche docenti dell’European Studies Department, St. Kliment Ohridski University Sofia, del Centre for Europe University of Warsaw (CEUW) e della Univesidad de Valencia.
Al fine di contribuire alla formazione di una sfera pubblica transnazionale, le attività in programma prevedono il coinvolgimento ed il confronto tra gli studenti e i dottorandi dell’Università di Bari, gli studenti delle Università straniere che collaborano al progetto, nonché dei docenti e studenti Erasmus. Per stimolare il dialogo tra mondo accademico e società e civile saranno organizzate lezioni pubbliche, seminari tematici, workshops e conferenze.

The COMEU4PAR project, which is funded by the European Union, has the objective of promoting educational and research activities on the topics of European citizenship and related rights and duties.
The objective of the module is to disseminate knowledge, foster debate and support research on European Union issues in order to combat misinformation and encourage the democratic participation of citizens in the definition of the supranational political agenda.
The three-year European project is distinguished by its strong trans-European character, with participation not only from professors at the University of Bari, the University of Salerno and the University of Perugia, but also from lecturers at the European Studies Department, St. Kliment Ohridski University Sofia, the Centre for Europe University of Warsaw (CEUW) and the Universidad de Valencia.
In order to contribute to the formation of a transnational public sphere, the planned didactic activities envisage the involvement and exchange between students and doctoral students from the University of Bari, students from the foreign universities collaborating in the project, as well as Erasmus teachers and students. Public lectures, thematic seminars, workshops and conferences will be organised to stimulate the dialogue between academia and civil society.
