How to reach us

The dib is situated on the Bari University Campus, together with various other departments. The pedestrian entrances to the Campus are on Via Re David, Via Amendola and Via Orabona. Bicycles, motorcycles and cars (cars may enter only with a permit) may enter only on Via Orabona 4.

Inside the University Campus there is a 3-star hotel, where University guests are offered special prices. Details of how to reach the Campus Hotel are provided below.

How to reach the dib from the Station (tel. 89 20 21)

*On foot:

Taking one of the three subways, come out onto Via Capruzzi. At the subway exit turn left and proceed for about three hundred metres, turn right into Via Re David and go straight on to the Campus entrance.

*By bus:

You can take the following buses from the station:

Number 18 (bus stops in Via Re David)

Number 21 (bus stops in Via Re David)

Number 22 (bus stops in Via Amendola)

How to reach the dib by car:

1) From the highway “Statale 16 bis”:

Follow the signs for the “Tangenziale di Bari” (direction Brindisi). Exit at 13A for San Pasquale and proceed along Via Amendola for about 1 chilometres. At the third traffic lights turn left into Viale Einaudi and then at the second traffic lights turn right into Via G. Salvemini. Proceed and at the next traffic lights go straight on. After about three hundred metres you will see the entrance to the Campus in front of you.

2) From the motorway “A14” coming from the north:

Exit at “Bari Nord” and follow the signs for the “Tangenziale di Bari” (direction Brindisi). Then follow the directions given in 1).

3) From the motorway “A14” coming from the south:

Exit at “Bari Sud” and follow the signs for the “Tangenziale di Bari” (direction Brindisi). Then follow the directions given in 1).

How to reach the dib from Palese Airport:( +39-080-5800200)

There is a bus available at the arrival of each flight and the metro trains are frequent. Both will take you to Bari Station. The ticket costs 4,15 euros. A taxi takes about twenty minutes from the Airport directly to the Campus and costs approximately 25 euros. It is also possible to hire a car. By car, leave the airport and follow the signs for the “Tangenziale di Bari” (direction Brindisi) and then follow the directions given in 1).

How to reach the Campus Hotel by car:

From the “Tangenziale di Bari” (direction Brindisi), exit at 13A for San Pasquale and proceed along Via Amendola for about 2 chilometres. After four sets of traffic lights, turn left into Via Celso Ulpiani. Via Celso Ulpiani runs along the northern side of the Campus. The entrance to the Campus Hotel is on the left, after a left bend, at number 11-13.
