MIcroscopio elettronico (SEM)
The electron microscope is capable of providing an extremely high-resolution image of the surface of a material or device using electrons instead of light. Accelerated electrons have a wavelength 1000 times smaller than that of photons. The advantage is that it can bypass the limits of diffraction and magnify an image up to 1,000,000 times, allowing for the observation of the structure of molecules and aggregated atoms in extreme detail.
