Atomic force microscopy (AFM)

Il microscopio a forza atomica è in grado di restituire un’immagine del profilo superficiale di un materiale con risoluzione nanometrica, e quindi consente di vedere in estremo dettaglio la struttura di molecole e atomi. The atomic force microscope allows to create an image of the surface profile of a sample with sub nanometric resolution, thus allowing for the detailed visualization of the surface structure at molecular and even atomic resolution.
