1st International Conference "Economics of Global Interactions: New Perspectives on Trade, Factor Mobility and Development"

The University of Bari “Aldo Moro” partners Universities participating to the MA in Economics of
International Trade and European Integration (E.I.T.E.I.) – Universiteit Antwerpen, Vrije Universiteit
Brussel, Universidad de Cantabria, Université des Science set Technologies de Lille (Lille 1), VSE Prague and Staffordshire University – and Fondazione ENI Enrico Mattei (FEEM) jointly organized a workshop on the “Economics of Global Interactions”. The workshop will provide scholars with the opportunity to discuss their recent contributions in the following areas:
- Globalization and the Environment;
- theoretical and empirical aspects of International Trade;
- determinants and effects of International Migration;
- Foreign Direct Investments;
- Globalization and Development;
- Oil and Development (FEEM special session)

Both theoretical and empirical papers are welcome. A selection of the papers was considered (with the authors agreement) for submission in economics e-journal (www.economics-ejournal.org) an open-access, open assessment, peer reviewed E-journal.


Keynote Speakers:
Prof. Ian Wooton (University of Strathclyde, UK) and Prof. Joseph Francois (Johannes Kepler University Linz, Austria) founders of the European Trade Study Group (www.etsg.org)
