Dottorato di ricerca in Sanità Animale e Zoonosi

The PhD programme in Animal Health and Zoonoses is inspired by the One Health vision.

The programme has a strong international focus and enrols students from European and non-European countries. Until 2022, 2–4 places were reserved for foreign students. 

Several visiting students and researchers have participated in the programme and its research and educational activities, creating opportunities for scientific and cultural exchange

The PhD programme has received support from the Italian Ministry of Education, Universities and Research (MIUR) over the years, including through the "PON Ricerca e Innovazione" 2014-2020 initiative for research and innovation, Ministerial Decree 1061/2021 (Action IV.4 – PhD programmes and research contracts on innovation topics and Action IV.5 – PhD programmes on green topics), the MIUR action "Departments of Excellence" (Law 232/2016) and and Ministerial Decrees 351/2022 and 630/2024.
