Researcher at the Institute of Infectious and Parasitic Diseases of Domestic animals of the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine of the University of Bari since 1983.
Associate Professor of Infectious Diseases of domestic animals at the Institute of Infectious and Parasitic Diseases of Domestic animals of the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine of the University of Bari since 1998.

Current academic position:
Full professor of Infectious Diseases of Domestic Animals at the Department of Veterinary Medicine since 1999.
