Marco Papa
Marco is an Associate Professor of Accounting at the University of Bari 'Aldo Moro'. He obtained a Ph.D. in Business Administration from the University of Bari ‘Aldo Moro’ and a Master in Accounting & Finance from the University of Lancaster (UK). He was visiting researcher at the Adam Smith Business School, University of Glasgow, and visiting professor at the Catholic University Our Lady of Good Counsel, Tirana.
His research interests are in corporate disclosure, business valuation, and international accounting. He authored and co-authored several books and articles on these topics.
Marco was a board member of SIDREA (Società Italiana dei Docenti di Ragioneria e di Economia Aziendale) and currently, he is a member of the Accademia Italiana di Economia Aziendale (AIDEA). He is also a board member of the Financial Accounting and Reporting Special Interest Group (FARSIG) set up by the British Accounting & Finance Association (BAFA).
