Graduates with a Master's degree in Materials Science and Technology (at the moment LM-53) in Bari often continue their career with a Ph.D. program, either in Italy or abroad, and are able to easily integrate into productive or research environments dealing with the following issues:

  • Improving the performance of existing materials such as polymers, ceramics, glass, metals, composites, and semiconductors.
  • Developing new materials for applications in microelectronics, optoelectronics, bioelectronics, photonics, biomedical applications, prosthetics, food, and pharmaceutical packaging.
  • Designing and studying devices and sensors for instrumental and industrial applications.
  • Studying materials interfaced with biological systems.

To achieve these goals, the University of Bari - Aldo Moro offers:

  • Qualified expertise in the field of new materials, materials chemistry for electronics, bioelectronics, and microelectronics, materials for biomedical applications, prosthetics, and sensors, antibacterial materials, materials for food and pharmaceutical packaging, conducting polymers, semiconductors, and LEDs, as well as in the physics of materials and quantum electronics on semiconductor materials, multiple quantum well heterostructures, quantum cascade lasers, polymers, fullerenes, organic, and inorganic compounds.
  • Well-equipped laboratories with state-of-the-art instruments for the preparation, study, and processing of innovative materials.

The database consists of graduates who have completed their degree at least 18 months ago. "NA" indicates missing responses.
