The Jean Monnet Conferences
Overview
The Jean Monnet module includes conferences with scholars and experts in migration policies, border control, and human rights protection in the Euro-Mediterranean region. Such conferences are also organized in collaboration with other scholars, research centers, institutions, or associations active in the field of protecting the rights of migrants and asylum seekers, aiming to strengthen inter-university collaboration and synergies with civil society.
The conferences are open to the public and will stand for a unique opportunity for the University of Bari students to interact with experts in migration policies, asylum, and human rights protection both nationally and internationally. They also aim to stimulate public debate on topics of great relevance affecting the city of Bari and the Apulia region.
