Registration/matriculation

Registration for 2019-2020 study programmes begins in early August and ends on 29th November.

IMPORTANT:

The deadlines for enrolment in limited number study programmes are indicated in the public notices.

 

HOW TO ENROLL ONLINE:

To enroll, students must go to the portal at www.uniba.it/esse3 in order to register. 

You are given a user name and password for login purposes and you should then fill in the online registration form.

IMPORTANT: It is mandatory to include an email address for receiving communications and for retrieving both the login and password.

However, before you proceed with the online registration you should be aware of the following:

  • the amount of the first instalment is calculated solely on the basis of the ISEE (indicator of equivalent economic status) declaration. The I.S.E.E. form may only be sent electronically  (see the Regulation determining fees and contributions). Without the ISEE certification students will pay the maximum amount of fees/contributions;

  • the regional fee payable to the local ADiSU (Agency for the Right to University Study) is included in the first instalment paid by a MAV (banker’s order). Students no longer have to pay using postal payment slips directly to ADiSU. For more information, visit the  A.DI.SU. Puglia website;
  • students with disabilities equal to or greater than 66% are exempt from the regional fee and only need to make a single payment of virtual stamp duty.

IMPORTANT: Fees are to be paid exclusively using the MAV Payment System (MAV i.e.  Banker’s order form) made available by the  Esse3 System  online and in the Payments section of each student’s personal page. The regional fee to ADiSU can be paid together with the first instalment on the MAV form. 

NB:  Fee payment slips are not sent to your home address.



DOCUMENTS TO BE HANDED IN AT THE STUDENT ADMINISTRATION OFFICE

Immediately after enrolling, students must hand in the following documentation to their student office:

  • a printed version of the form they have completed online;
  • a signed photocopy of a valid identity document and their tax code number;
  • two identical passport-size photographs, one of which should come with the appropriate stamp duty;
  • (only applicable to students on degree programmes at the Faculty of Medicine) certification attesting to their having undergone a screening test for tuberculosis at a public health facility (through Mantroux introdermoreaction);
  • (for students from developing countries in conditions of economic hardship) documentation must be obtained from the nearest Italian diplomatic authorities;
  • (for students with disabilities) a legally-recognised certificate acknowledging their disability status and the percentage of disability;
  • self-certification of their academic qualification.
