Third mission & Social impact

Context analysis

The Department promotes third mission and technology transfer activities also through the establishment of Spin-offs and collaboration agreements with other start-ups. The Research and third mission activities of the Department's professors have led to the granting of several national and international patents.

The specific skills that represent the DiMePRe-J foster relationships with the territory, with regional, national and international private companies, with local authorities and the activation of numerous research projects and agreements that have generated significant funding. Third party activities are active in most of the Department's Sections located in the Polyclinic and in the Veterinary Clinics.

Among other things, the Department has a school-work alternation activity in agreement with the Tedone High School in Bari.

 

Vision

The Department is involved in numerous third mission activities with significant social impact on the territory, on pharmaceutical and medical device companies; it is involved in the dissemination of research results in the involvement of patient associations.
