Teaching Activities

The teaching activities of the PhD Programme are conceived as an integral part of research training and are informed by a multidisciplinary, critical and innovation-oriented approach. They are designed to combine theoretical depth, methodological rigour and openness to engagement with the major processes of political, economic and social transformation shaping contemporary societies. In this perspective, teaching is aimed not only at consolidating disciplinary knowledge, but also at developing the analytical, design and transferable skills that are essential for research in academic, institutional and professional settings.

The organisation of teaching activities is structured, on the one hand, around the Course Catalogue, approved by the Academic Board at the start of each PhD cycle and relating to the teaching activities planned for that cycle, and, on the other, around the Teaching Activities Calendar, which sets out the activities actually delivered in the relevant academic year for each of the PhD cycles active in that year.
