PhD Course in Soil and Food Sciences

Ph.D. COurse Details

The PhD program trains researchers capable of addressing global challenges related to sustainability, food security, and human health. It offers two complementary tracks: one focused on food — from microbiological and technological aspects to chemistry — and one centered on sustainable soil management. The program combines advanced training and research on key topics such as food production and preservation, efficient use of natural resources, environmental impact of agricultural practices, and prevention of diet-related diseases. Strong emphasis is placed on sustainability, waste reduction, and the valorization of by-products to promote an innovative and responsible agri-food system.
