Training profile

The Specialization School in Neurology trains medical specialists with advanced expertise in the diagnosis, prevention and treatment of diseases affecting the central, peripheral and muscular nervous systems.

The training programme integrates theoretical, clinical, professional and research activities in neurodegenerative, cerebrovascular, demyelinating, neuromuscular and epileptic diseases, as well as movement disorders.

  • Management of neurodegenerative diseases and cognitive disorders.
  • Neurophysiological and neuroradiological diagnostics.

Access and admission

Admission is through the national competition for Medical Area Specialization Schools reserved for medical graduates, published annually by the Italian Ministry of University and Research.
