Training profile

The Specialization School in Internal Medicine trains medical specialists with advanced expertise in the comprehensive management of adult patients affected by acute, chronic and complex diseases.

The training programme integrates theoretical, clinical, professional and research activities carried out within the accredited training network, with particular emphasis on the management of multimorbidity and clinical complexity.

Admission is through the national competition for Medical Area Specialization Schools reserved for medical graduates, published annually by the Italian Ministry of University and Research.
