Training profile

The School trains specialists with theoretical, scientific and professional expertise in neurology, psychiatry and neurodevelopmental disorders of childhood and adolescence.

The training programme integrates theoretical, clinical, professional and research activities dedicated to the diagnosis, pharmacological, psychotherapeutic and rehabilitative treatment of neuropsychiatric disorders in children and adolescents.

  • Management of neurodevelopmental and learning disorders.
  • Assessment and treatment of psychiatric disorders in children and adolescents.

Access and admission

Admission is through the national competition for Medical Area Specialization Schools reserved for medical graduates, published annually by the Italian Ministry of University and Research.
