The Degree Course in Food Science and Technology provides knowledge and trains professional skills that guarantee a complete view of the activities and problems of food and beverages from their production to consumption. The Degree Programme does not include an articulation in curricula or orientations, linked to specific production areas, and the occupational profile of the graduate in Food Science and Technology is, consequently, very broad. The general objective of his professional functions, also in support and integration of others, is the constant improvement of food products in a qualitative and economic sense, ensuring the sustainability and eco-compatibility of industrial activities and incorporating innovations in specific activities.
