STATISTICS AND METHODS FOR ECONOMICS AND FINANCE

IThe Master's Degree Course in Statistics and Methods for Economics and Finance, the only one in Puglia, aims to train specialists in the field of actuarial techniques and mathematical finance of markets and business, as well as other applied quantitative methodologies concerning economic, insurance, social security and financial issues. The main employment sectors are insurance and reinsurance companies, asset management companies (SGRs), institutions operating in the field of finance and pensions, banking, insurance and pension fund supervision. Finally, after a state exam, it is possible to work as a freelance actuary. Graduates in Statistics and Methods for Economics and Finance will also be able to continue their studies as part of PhDs or second-level Master's degrees.
