Sciences of Diagnostic Technical Health Professions

The Degree Course in Sciences of Diagnostic Technical Health Professions aims to train graduates with appropriate knowledge and skills to act in the organizational management of technical-health personnel. To this end, the proposed educational offer allows the student to acquire adequate scientific, technical, ethical, organizational knowledge and skills and relational and teaching skills. The Master's Degree Programme in Sciences of the Diagnostic Technical Health Professions has a limited number of students at national level, therefore enrolment is subject to passing an admission test. Successful candidates, in possession of a degree in oneof the health professions of the corresponding class, access the reference master's degree without educational debts. The Master's Degree Course in Diagnostic Technical Health Professions Sciences aims to provide training that allows graduates to: •incorporate the fundamentals of preclinical and clinical knowledge useful for the training of healthcare personnel involved in diagnostics, instrumental and non-instrumental; • adopt, within health facilities, the basic knowledge of biomedical sciences pertinent to the specific professional figure, appropriate for making decisions relating to the organization and management of health services provided by personnel with technical health functions in the medical area; • understand the ways of acting of health personnel in their ethical, social and moral dimensions; • prepare for the design and implementation of systems for the processing of scientific data, as well as their management and use in the various application contexts; • use, for the organization of health services and for the management of available human and technological resources, the necessary health economics and business organization skills, also evaluating the cost/benefit ratio; • accurately verify, in the technical healthfield, specific sectors of the health organization; • employ the methods and tools of research in the area of the organization of health services; • plan and improve all activities aimed at the management and acquisition of the human, technological, information and financial resources available to health facilities; • plan and implement training interventions for updating and permanent training relating to the reference health facilities; • increase, as part of the tutorial activities and coordination of the internship in basic, complementary and permanent training, the teaching skills for the specific professional figure; • instruct on the legal aspects with reference to the regulatory, administrative and judicial competences of the EU bodies, so as to easily integrate into relations with foreign states and their respective legal systems.
