This three-year program aims to train nurses with a solid scientific and practical background, qualifying them to practice the healthcare profession. Classes include both theoretical teaching and internships at hospitals and in the community, with the collaboration of specialized medical and nursing staff. The curriculum also includes elective learning activities (ADE), chosen from among those offered by the degree program and/or the University, as long as they are consistent with the objectives of the program. These activities may include lectures on specific topics, seminars, conferences, and/or congresses and practical and/or experiential activities. The curriculum also includes professional workshops, designed to enhance professional preparation relevant to the profile. Students acquire technical, practical, and interpersonal skills in protected laboratory settings before testing themselves in healthcare facilities and directly with patients. This reduces the emotional impact of real-world situations, while also ensuring ethical and patient safety. Professional workshops are held in equipped environments and involve small groups of students. Career opportunities for a nursing degree are varied and span a variety of professional fields. Graduates can find employment in both public and private healthcare facilities, such as hospitals, clinics, nursing homes, and community services, as well as in emergency services, rehabilitation centers, and hospices. They can work in inpatient wards, outpatient services, and in prevention and public health services. Furthermore, with advanced training, they can assume roles of managerial and organizational responsibility, such as health service managers, department heads, or high-intensity care facilities. Nurses can also pursue careers in education, becoming university professors or directors of professional development courses, or in research, contributing to applied research in the healthcare field. Other emerging opportunities include specialized roles such as forensic nurses, working in medico-legal fields, or healthcare consultants in organizational and management fields. In short, a nursing degree offers a wide range of career opportunities, from traditional clinical work to specialist and management roles, to teaching and research, with career opportunities even in innovative fields such as forensic nursing and healthcare consulting
