The course
Program factsheet
The three-year program integrates biomedical sciences (anatomy, physiology) and human sciences (psychology). Core subjects focus on physiological and pathological obstetrics and gynecology, perinatal medicine, and women's health. A key component is progressive practical training in healthcare facilities to develop professional autonomy. The program qualifies students for the profession of midwife, a key figure in pregnancy, childbirth, postpartum, and newborn care. The final exam consists of a dissertation leading to the degree.
