INDUSTRIAL CHEMISTRY
The Master's Degree Course in Industrial Chemistry of the University of Bari trains a chemist with a high level of preparation in the field of industrial production. The educational objectives aim to create a professional figure who possesses:
- a solid cultural preparation in chemistry in its theoretical and experimental aspects, with special reference to industrial production, product
-process connections, scale changes and sustainability of development;
- a mastery of the scientific method of investigation;
- sufficient elements of industrial and business economics;
- an advanced knowledge of modern instrumentation for measuring the properties of chemical substances and data analysis techniques;
- a good knowledge of a language of the European Union in addition to Italian;
- ability to work with great autonomy, also assuming responsibility for projects and structures.
- in-depth knowledge of product synthesis and the development of chemical processes, with particular reference to industrial processes and polymer science;
- ability to design and manage highly complex experiments;
- ability to conceive, plan, design and manage complex and/or innovative systems, processes and services, in compliance with the principles of environmental sustainability;
- ability to evaluate a chemical process in its economic and patent aspects and in its implications related to safety and sustainability.
