HERBAL AND NUTRACEUTICAL SCIENCES
The Bachelor’s Degree Programme in Herbal and Nutraceutical Sciences is a three-year programme designed to provide students with a solid scientific and technical background and prepare them for professional careers in the herbal and nutraceutical sectors.
The Programme places particular emphasis on the production, processing, formulation, and quality and safety assessment of plants, plant materials and their derivatives intended for use in herbal and nutraceutical products, food products, and naturally derived cosmetics.
Admission to the Programme is open and does not involve a competitive selection process.
The curriculum also provides a strong foundation for further study at Master’s degree level, offering graduates the opportunity to pursue advanced specialisation in fields such as agri-food sciences, nutrition and pharmaceutical sciences.
