The degree program has limited enrollment. An admissions test is required to assign available places, the number of which is determined annually by the Faculty of Medicine and Surgery, based on actual job market demand. Classes are taught by faculty from the Faculty of Medicine and Surgery and by experts from various professional fields. Particular emphasis is placed on practical work and internships, conducted under the supervision of specialized personnel. The degree program in Dietetics aims to train graduates with adequate knowledge of the biological and pathological phenomena that can impact health and nutrition, and knowledge of the methodologies for conducting accurate nutritional assessments. Graduates must also have a thorough understanding of specific and personalized nutritional programs for various pathologies, patient needs, and nutritional education for the general population. They must also possess the necessary tools to evaluate the quality of foods and their production chain. May 31, 2023 Dietetics graduates are responsible for organizing and coordinating activities related to nutrition in general and dietetics in particular. They collaborate with the bodies responsible for ensuring the health and hygiene aspects of nutrition services; they develop, formulate, and implement diets prescribed by the physician and monitor their acceptability by the patient; they collaborate with other professionals in the multidisciplinary treatment of eating disorders and plan the organization of nutrition services for healthy and sick communities.
