The Master's Degree Course aims to provide future graduates with specific knowledge and skills in the field of Computer Security. More precisely, the course of study is aimed at training professionals who have knowledge and skills of a theoretical, methodological, experimental and applicative nature that allow them to carry out both design, development, testing as well as research, coordination and management activities regarding complex IT systems where the issue of security and protection is fundamental from multiple points of view: infrastructural, organizational, technological, application and regulatory aspects. The graduate in Computer Security must be able not only to develop and manage complex secure computer systems but will also have to know the legal aspects that regulate the processing of computer data, the recording and transmission of sensitive data. The graduate will also acquire knowledge and skills that will allow him to hold managerial roles in companies, service companies and institutions. The training course is structured in such a way as to provide graduates with advanced training in line with the state of the art in relation to methodologies and solutions in the field of Computer Security. The training activities are mainly carried out through lectures, exercises, laboratory tests and through other teaching support tools. The course also includes the delivery in e-learning mode of some courses such as Business Organization and Processing of sensitive data. Individual and group activities are planned under the guidance of the teacher and internships in companies in the sector, public or private bodies and laboratories of the University in order not only to draw up the final paper to be presented in the graduation session, but also to conduct a significant training experience. Graduates in Computer Security will be able to continue their studies as part of Research Doctorates or Master's Degrees.
