CULTURAL HERITAGE SCIENCES

The three-year course of study in Cultural Heritage Sciences orients the skills provided by the basic disciplines to the historical-critical reading of the great phenomena of exchanges and relationships that have affected and still affect in particular the Mediterranean area, an elective meeting place for different cultures but capable of weaving a fertile dialogue in the past. The skills related to the historical-cultural dimension constitute the background in which the path more directly aimed at the knowledge of the heritage of archaeological, artistic and archival-book heritage according to the space-time coordinates is placed. Adequate space is reserved for the field of more exquisitely technical knowledge, which provides the basic tools for the recognition of the structural characteristics of the asset functional to the use and conservation of the asset itself.
