CARDIOCIRCULATORY PATHOPHYSIOLOGY AND CARDIOVASCULAR PERFUSION TECHNIQUES

The Degree Course in Cardiocirculatory Pathophysiology and Cardiovascular Perfusion Techniques qualifies for the Profession of Cardiocirculatory Pathophysiology and Cardiovascular Perfusion Technician. The latter is responsible for the powers provided for by the Ministerial Decree of the Ministry of Health 27 July 1998, no. 316 and subsequent amendments and additions. The course is held on the training center of the University Hospital 'Consorziale Policlinico ' of Bari, a training center with the provision of teaching and professionalizing internship. The course is held in Italian, has limited access, and provides adequate preparation in the basic and clinical disciplines related to the physiological and pathologicalprocesses to which the therapeutic intervention is addressed. As part of the professionalizing teaching activity, various activities are planned including: - Learning of Extracorporeal Circulation Techniques (C.E.C.) to be applied in Cardiac Surgery and General Surgery in liver transplants - Learning of the various Techniques of Cardiovascular and Respiratory Assistance with I.A.B.P., E.C.M.O. etc; with Mechanical Ventricular Assist Devices (V.A.D.), Total Artificial Heart. - Learning of non-invasive techniques of non-invasive cardio-vascular diagnostics: Electrocardiography, Echocardiography (One-dimensional, two-dimensional, color Doppler, 3D), Utrasonography and Vascular Ultrasound, etc - Learning of Invasive Cardiological Diagnostic Techniques - Learning of Electrophysiology, Cardiac Electrostimulation Techniques - Learning of Interventional and Endovascular Cardiology and Hemodynamics Techniques in general - Learning Dialysis and Ultrafiltration Techniques - Learning of Pelvic, Peritoneal, Thoracic, Limb and Liver Locoregional PerfusionTechniques for Antiblastic Therapy in Oncology - Learning of Cell Separation Techniques (c/o Transfusion Centers).
