- Full Professor of Infectious Diseases of Domestic Animals at the Department of Veterinary Medicine.

Professional qualifications:

- PhD degree at Faculty of Veterinary Medicine, University of Utrecht, The Netherlands (2009).

- Doctorate fellowship in “Infectious diseases of carnivores” (2004).

Academic assignments:

- Coordinator of the PhD course “Animal Health and Zoonoses” (from 2017, cycle XXXIII)

- Vice Director and Research Delegate of the Department of Veterinary Medicine, University of Bari (from 2015).

- Member of the working group of University of Bari for research evaluation (from 2014).

Teaching activities:

- Viral Diseases od Domestic Animals of the Veterinary Medicine course degree (from 2012).

- Infectious diseases of domestic carnivores of the Post-graduate School of Infectious Diseases of Animals (2010-2017).
